Lesson
plans are provided to guide the teachers with a systematic plan to
design their teaching learning activities and thus help them to be
confident and efficient in the classroom.
Living
beings need energy for their survival and to perform metabolic activities
either building up of body material (anabolism ) or its break down (catabolism)
organisms use different substances for these metabolic activities, and
different products would be generated some of these may be harmful and are
removed from their body or packed and stored in some other forms. Some
excretory substances are utilized in other activities. For example the oxygen
which is produced during photosynthesis is utilized in the respiration of
plants. But the nitrogenous wastes like ammonia, urea, uric acid are most
harmful substances if they are not excreted from our body they become toxic and
kill the organism.
